There are a million things we can give and receive with out spending a penny; we might just need to take a couple moments of winter stillness to understand the transaction. Giving is what keeps us alive.

I was once watching a farmer milk a cow by hand, and he told me that if the cow did not want to be milked, he could not do it. No amount of squeezing and yanking on her teats would get him any milk. If the cow was not willing to give him her milk, her body would not allow him to take it.

We live in an outstanding community. Full of life, full of love, full of giving. So many events pass through The Dirt! Website. So many hard working volunteers make these events possible. People giving, giving, giving. Thank you all. Happy New Year from all of us at the Dirt!
