The main goal is to promote cooperative, community-based efforts to reconnect with each other and enhance the places we live. In commemoration of Kenneth Deffeyes' prediction of a Thanksgiving World Oil Peak Day, Portland Peak Oil is throwing a party! This Nov. 30th party has a suggested donation (no one turned away!) with local foods potluck (remember to bring something!) and get-down country dancing with master caller and fiddler David Kaynor and Sue Songer on piano. Should be a good time.
