The main goal is to promote cooperative, community-based efforts to reconnect with each other and enhance the places we live. For the first 20 minutes four green building professionals will highlight the key issues of working with professionals and DIY from the perspective of their professions. The panel will include Nancy Web from the Contractor's Board, Tamara Staudt who worked with many professionals on a four-unit green project, Lydia Doleman of Flying Hammer who works with DIY-ers, and Eric Storm who has built his own green home hiring just a few subcontractors In the following hour you will have an opportunity to meet in small groups with the green building professionals and the other participants to discuss specific topics of interest to you. The Green Home Forum is a monthly event where the public and green building professionals can exchange ideas, needs, and services on the how-to's of green building. - Learn about environmentally healthy and safe options for your home - Exchange ideas and get free consultations from professionals - Get the resources to make "green-smart" ideas in your home a reality
