First Unitarian Church Portland (www.firstunitarianportland.org) will host special guest Michael Armstrong of the Portland Office of Sustainable Development to present “The World is Hot!” on Sunday, November 19th from 12:45-1:45 p.m. in the Main Street Sanctuary, 1011 SW 12th Avenue. The program details Portland’s initiative to reduce carbon dioxide emissions citywide to 10% below 1990 levels by 2010. There is no fee for the event, and it is open to the public.
