Join the Clark Public Utilities' StreamTeam for a great day of restoration activities, environmental education, and fun! We have a variety of activities including tree plantings, pottings, monitoring and maintenance events to fit everybody's interests!

Join Three Rivers Land Conservancy and the West Willamette Restoration Project to restore our forests which are draped with ivy and other noxious weeds.

When: Saturday April 7, 9am-12pm

Where: The worksite meeting point is a roadside turnout along Terwilliger Blvd. From downtown, if you are traveling along Terwilliger, after about 1.2 mi. you will pass SW Hamilton St on your left and then SW Bancroft Ter. on your right. After that you go around a sharp left curve. The turnout is just after this curve on the right. If you are coming from the other direction the turnout is .6 mi. after the Chart House Restaurant and will be on the left. Look for a Three Rivers Land Conservancy banner.

Tool Maintenance Workshop with Will Newman

April 7th, 10am-noon (followed by optional tool work-party @ 12:30)

In this workshop we'll learn how to take proper care of our non-powered hand tools for longer lives and better functionality. The presentation will be followed by an optional work party where we can tune up our tools together. Will Newman is the director of Oregon Sustainable Agriculture Land Trust.


Fee: $15 (or $8 if you stick around and work on some of TLC Farm's tools!)
