Watershed Stewards are a group of Clark County residents dedicated to improving the natural environment through education and environmental restoration. Stewards attend a free training, learning about a variety of watershed topics including plant life, salmon, stormwater and restoration and then commit to volunteering at least 40 hours back into the community. Join a great group of people to learn about the environment in Clark County and your part in improving it!

Are you interested in inspiring young people to learn more about sustainable agriculture, food systems, and ecological awareness?

Oregon Tilth’s Organic Education Center is currently recruiting ”Farm Naturalists“ for our Field School program at JEAN’s Urban Forest Farm in SE Portland. These volunteers will help facilitate and lead multi-sensory field trips on Tuesdays and Thursdays from mid April to early June. Farm Naturalists will be asked to attend a volunteer training on April 1st from 9 am to 1:30 pm, and will ideally commit to leading at least two field trips during the spring.
