HOW TO BE AN AGENT OF CHANGE IN YOUR CIRCLE OF INFLUENCE

Each of us is a member of numerous circles of influence, such as a workplace, neighborhood, club or organization, school, center of faith, extended family, condominium association, etc. Each circle provides a natural arena for the work of the change agent seeking to create a more sustainable culture. In the broader community, such as the City of Portland or the State of Oregon, the culture is a composite of the values, attitudes, and habits of its citizens and its myriad circles of influence. Thus, as an agent of change works within a confined circle, the agent is also pulling the broader community along the path of sustainability.
