Ginger Tea
Here's my tea remedy for colds in the winter when you are feeling crappy. Everyone has seen that "Ginger Tea" that they sell boxed in health food stores right? Well if you want to just create the full-strength version for yourself (without buying the box) just buy a large piece ginger root, peel it, slice it up in large chunks and then boil it in water in water in water for a long time (20-30 minutes) and then pour it hot in a cup, add honey (which supposedly has healing qualities of its own) and drink, sipping slowly. disclaimer: I am not a doctor, nor do I profess myself to be. I only know what has worked for me and my body. What I like about the above tea remedy is that it is sans box/wrapping etc. and it is straight from the ROOT! (That can be a good place to start sometimes :) Cheers! - VanilLaBeaN ( categories: )
