Recycle Old Cell Phones

Stretch 500 million cell phones end to end and the chain wouldn’t just circle the earth once. It would circle the globe twice. That’s how many old cell phones could enter the “waste stream” this year.

But this doesn’t have to happen – with your help…

Through Earth Share of Oregon - recycle old cell phones. You now have the chance to recycle all those old cell phones that are taking up space in drawers and closets—all while helping the earth and supporting Earth Share.

Among the many ways that you and your company or organization can support Earth Share – here is a rewarding and simple one.

Get Collection Boxes from Earth Share

Earth Share will bring recycling collection boxes to your organization and provide you with promotional materials to ensure that your co-workers know about the opportunity to recycle their cell phones. This is a great way to encourage sustainable practices at work or honor Earth Day.

Once the box begins to fill, or after a few weeks, just give us a call and we’ll come pick up the box and send the phones to our recycler.

What About Your Corporate Cell Phones?
Are your corporate cell phones being recycled?  Every time your company turns over cell phones or when one stops working, we’d like to have them. We will make sure they are refurbished, reused or recycled.  Nothing will go to the landfill--cell phones that cannot be reused or refurbished will be broken down to their individual components and recycled.

How Does This Help Earth Share of Oregon?
When you recycle with us you keep the harmful components of cell phones out of the landfill and raise an average of $1.52 per phone for Earth Share of Oregon.

Earth Share’s Recycle Your Cell Phone! is a part of The CellFund Program.
