A birding adventure

Easy: 4 miles, 150-ft. elev. gain

Bring your binoculars and spotting scopes to this early morning birding trip with Friends of the Columbia Gorge leaders Bob Lockett and Adrienne Wolf-Lockett.  Relaxed pacing and amiable trail conditions allow for great birding.  Leaders enjoy sharing knowledge, especially with beginners.  Contact Karen Hardigg (hikes@gorgefriends.org) with questions.

First Meeting Place: Depart 7:00 AM from Gateway.

Second Meeting Place: 9:15 AM at Deschutes State Park (I-84 east to Exit 97, turn right off exit ramp, then left, continuing 2 miles east to State Park on right.  Drive to parking area at rear of Park).
