~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ eFieldTrips News Friendly Reminder - "Ask the Experts" (Apr 16-18) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ What role did earthquakes play in forming the mountain ranges in Grand Teton National Park? How did glaciers shape this amazing landscape? What role does fire play in our nation's ecosystems? How does an area recover from a wildland fire? This is a friendly reminder that this week (Apr 16-18) your students can get the answers to these and many other questions from the experts at Grand Teton National Park and the Bureau of Land Managment. Asking the experts makes the eFieldTrip unique. Students will be able to learn from people actually in the field who are experts in the area of study addressed by the eFieldTrip. Having students think of questions fosters and encourages creative thinking. Explaining to them that those answering the questions are experts on the topic will have them thinking about the questions they ask in new ways. To participate in the "Ask the Experts", students should go to the eFieldTrips home page at www.eFieldTrips.org Click on the banner for the appropriate eFieldTrip. Then click on the "Ask the Experts" icon and follow the instructions. We recommend that you have the students complete the Virtual Visit prior to submitting questions. This is not required, but it helps to focus students on asking appropriate questions. We hope that you will take advantage of this wonderful learning opportunity and encourage your students to Ask the Experts! eFiedTrips Information Go to www.eFieldTrips.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ info@efieldtrips.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
