On March 1, 2008, the Johnson Creek Watershed Council will celebrate 10 years of gathering the communities that make up the Johnson Creek watershed together for a day of stewardship and community-building at the Watershed Wide Event. Each year, for the last 9 years, the JCWC has brought together hundreds of volunteers to sites along the creek to remove invasive plants and trash, plant native trees and shrubs, and mulch new plants. Join us in helping to make this year the best ever! Get your family, coworkers, girl or boy scout troop, club, or friends together for a morning of rewarding work along Johnson Creek. Volunteers are needed before the event, too! Contact us if you'd like to help plan the celebration, or just have time to put up a few flyers in your neighborhood.
