Plant Trees and help restore the Beaver Creek watersheds in Troutdale at SOLV’s Team Up For Watershed Health sites on Saturday March 1. Plantings start at 9 am and end by 12 pm.

Beaver Creek is a tributary to the Sandy River just before it enters the Columbia River. Agricultural use and development have led to decreased water quality and aquatic wildlife habitat. Restoration priorities for this 9.1 acre site include increasing vegetation to reduce stream temperature and improving in-stream diversity by adding large wood. Project Partners include City of Troutdale, Oregon Dept. of Fish and Wildlife, Friends of Beaver Creek, URS Corporation, Reynolds High School/Natural Resource Academy, Metro, National Forest Foundation, and The Nature Conservancy.
