Description:
If fungus gardening has a peculiar appeal, because
you like to eat shiitakes for instance, get yourself
some hands-on experience. Prepare outdoor mushroom
beds, plant sawdust spawn into those beds
and inoculate logs with pre-grown dowel spawn of
edible and medicinal mushrooms. Tour a working
mushroom farm and receive an overview of basic
laboratory procedures involved in the early stages
of mushroom cultivation. Expand your definition of
gardening!
