SPIN stands for S-mall P-lot IN-tensive and is a production driven, organic-based system that will help you achieve levels of productivity that go far beyond current home gardening practices. Backyards, front lawns and neighborhood lots can be transformed into a steady and dependable supply of vegetables. You’ll learn not only grow like a pro, but also how to process like a pro from Gail Vandersteen and Roxanne Christensen, the co-creator and co-author of the revolutionary SPIN-Farming method. They will demonstrate how the SPIN-Farming method can be transferred to your garden and discuss harvesting and distribution techniques that can include family, friends or neighbors. This is the premiere SPIN-Gardening workshop and you’ll receive the first edition of the SPIN-Gardening manual with your workshop registration. Class size will be limited, so register soon to join with other pioneering food gardeners bringing local food production back to the city.
