The ReBuilding Center of Our United Villages invites you to attend the grand unveiling of a community art sculpture called The Community Trees. Located in the Community Gathering Space on Mississippi Avenue, the three-story sculpture features cob tree trunks topped with branches and leaves crafted from reclaimed metal and household objects donated by community members.

Brief stories from community members, artists, an Afro-Pop dance performance, and light refreshments

The program features brief words from tree branch sculptor Mike Suri of Suri Iron, stories of the objects they donated from community members, and a performance by Afro-pop artist Loveness Wesa. Light refreshments also provided. Please join us to celebrate the completion of this wonderful community sculpture.
