Celebrate GreenFest with Vancouver Urban Forestry on a bicycle tour of downtown Vancouver's Heritage Trees. Visit some of Vancouver's most celebrated trees on an enjoyable 9-mile guided bicycle ride. The flat, easy bicycle route begins and ends at the Water Resources Education Center, following the Columbia River, and winding through historic downtown Vancouver. Stop at eight locations to admire trees whose legacies connect all residents of Vancouver to the proud past of our community. Urban Forestry staff will discuss the historical and arboricultural significance of each tree.

When: Saturday July 12, 2008 2:00 - 3:30 p.m.

Where: Water Resources Education Center (4600 SE Columbia Way)

What to bring: a working bicycle, a helmet (required), water, and your friends and family.

The ride is FREE and pre-registration is not required.
