Plant Trees and help restore the Council Creek watershed in Cornelius at SOLV’s Team Up For Watershed Health site as part of the Intel-SOLV Clean and Green Project on Saturday, October 11th. Plantings start at 9 am and end by 12 pm.

This property was recently acquired by Metro with the intent of protecting the wonderful habitat that exists and restoring the area that is overgrown with invasive plants. SOLV is working in partnership with Clean Water Services, the Neighborhood Watch, and Metro to re-establish the tree cover. This is the second year we have been planting at this site and there is lots of work to be done!

For more information and to register visit the Clean and Green webpage, http://www.solv.org/programs/clean_and_green.asp or call Brett Lyon at 503-844-9571 x 332. Event information is found at the very bottom of the page. Put on your boots, grab a shovel, and come dig in! We hope to see you out in your watershed!
