ReCode Oregon: legalizing sustainability
What's all the buzz about Recode Oregon? Come find out! Child care provided.
Tired of your dreams of sustainable living being crushed by out-dated city regulations? Time to engage Recode Oregon!
Recode Oregon, a project of Tryon Life Community Farm, is a community-based group examining how city and state regulations can support rather than inhibit creative and sustainable living, while educating and engaging grassroots communities in changing these codes. Recode is launching a new meeting format, on the fourth Tuesday of each month, with educational speakers, interactive discussions and a change to plug into the many working groups. At the meeting on February 24, we'll introduce Recode and its working groups, present the history of Recode and its parent organization Tryon Life Community Farm, get updated on the efforts to legalize graywater, and present a chance for folks to plug in. Take the code books into your own hands with Recode Oregon! For more information, visit www.recodeoregon.net, or contact Melora Golden at melora@recodeoregon.net or 503-290-8608. Location
