Share a potluck with fellow permies and VBC folks, tour outer NE Portland property undergoing permaculture transformation, and learn about lactofermentation around the year and kitchen permaculture with Chris Musser of Lost Arts Kitchen.
At last month's PPG meeting we met with Matt Bibeau and others orgnanizing this years Village Building Convergence and decided to invite VBC participants to join PPG for a social event following the Convergence. Join the potluck and tour of Chris Musser's half-acre property that includes permaculture design features such as an herb spiral, mobile chicken coop, sheet mulch project, and production vegetable garden. Afterward, learn the basics of lactofermentation, taste some naturally fermented goodies, and join a discussion about bringing permaulture design priniciples into the kitchen. Meet fellow permies and welcome VBC folks who are interested in learning more about permaculture and our local guild.
When: June 15, 2009. Potluck at 6pm. Tour and discussion at 7pm
