Join us for the Portland/Vancouver Area's Pre-Parliament Event:
Drawing on the hospitality and compassion of the world's religious and spiritual traditions, we will gather in small groups in round
tables to share stories of what we deeply care about, what we are
doing in our communities and the world, and what gives us hope.
We seek to:
* understand and respect each other
* uncover shared convictions and concerns
* forge relationships and friendships
Complimentary food and beverage will be provided. Please RSVP for

Looking ahead:
This Pre-Parliament event focuses on the theme of building community, one of the major program themes of the Melbourne Parliament event. Engaging each other in ways that strengthen social cohesion across our region provides us with a beginning experience that we wish to build on over the coming year -- and beyond.
Post-Parliament event:
We will support the relationships and friendships forged in the Pre- Parliament event with another event after the Parliament
* To hear from those returning from Melbourne what they experienced
* To share personal experiences since and as a result of our Portland/Vancouver Pre-Parliament event
