Rain water reclemation, composting and recycled innovation

Rain water reclamation is a great way to cut down on water usage as well as lessen the burden on the city sewage to dispose of useful water.  Rain barrels are easy to make and can save hundreds of gallons of water that can be collected during the rainy season and used during the summer. The city pays $53 a spout that you take off the city sewage, so you can even make a little money while becoming more responsible about your water usage.

I've started a local company making rain barrels out of recycled materials. We sell plain food grade barrels, we can make custom rain barrels and overflow systems for irrigation.  We also make other organic gardening equipment such as turnable compost bins, vermiculture kits and more all made from recycled materials. You can take a look at all of our products as well as contact us at containrain.org. We are also very interested in continuing the not for profit work we've been doing for community gardens in the aria. If you have a community garden or are part of one that could use more organic gardening equipment or maintenance please contact us with more information.
