Please join us for a Pesticide-Free workparty at Sewallcrest Park

Last month we celebrated that the Pesticide Free Parks program has been happening for 2 years so far. We still have one more year to go on the 3 year trial period, before Portland Parks and Rec is considering adding more neighborhood parks. There is definitely a great deal of interest and support to eliminate herbicides throughout parks, cities and watersheds.

Sewallcrest Park is in good shape thanks to the work that volunteers did last month and all year long (hard work equals prevention!). Lets hope that we can get lots done and keep the park looking good again this month, before winter comes.  Please join us because we are having another fun work party at SewallCrest Park on Sunday November 5 from 10 am -12 noon.
